The idea of playing witch hunters as good guys – especially in a time period so close to the infamous Salem Witch Trials – is one that may well raise eyebrows, and already has here on the RPGnet forums. Players assume the roles of those chosen by God to be Witch Hunters, those who do battle against the Forces of Darkness – which include not only the requisite witches but also werewolves, vampires, headless horsemen, and other sorts of legendary menaces. Paradigm Concepts’ Witch Hunter is a historical fantasy/horror RPG set in an alternate year 1689.
